North Bay Pain Management Services
Short-stay medical care for alcohol, substance use disorders, and pain, provided in a safe, comfortable, confidential setting.
North Bay Pain Management is a medically supervised, short-stay, addiction detoxification and pain management facility conveniently located in central San Rafael, California.
Staffed 24 hours a day by trained nurses and physicians, North Bay Pain Management’s mission is to provide a safe, supportive center in which men and women can effectively be detoxified from alcohol and other drugs. Additionally, North Bay Pain Management is one of the only detoxification centers able to treat adolescents age 15 and older with parental consent. A typical length of stay at North Bay is 3-5 days. Reasonably priced, your admission fees include your initial assessment, room and board, meal deposit, continuous cardiac monitoring, and around-the-clock care. Our facility also offers full laboratory testing services, individual and family psychotherapy, and complementary services including: massage, acupuncture, Chinese medicine, and private sauna.
North Bay Pain Management is a unique facility set apart from other typical medical detoxification centers.
Our center is not hospital-based, which means we are able to provide all the services of an acute care facility, in the comfort of a residential environment. Since NBPM is a private center dedicated exclusively to the provision of medical detoxification, addiction medicine, and pain management services, our supportive staff can focus solely on the delivery of safe, holistic patient care.
North Bay Pain Management is not affiliated with any residential inpatient or outpatient treatment services, although we maintain ongoing relationships with all local and regional facilities. This means that unlike other facilities, we do not mandate ongoing care. Our patients and their families are presented with the widest possible array of options for continuing care after completion of the detoxification process. Our knowledgeable staff assists all patients in selecting and developing the recovery plan best suited to their individual needs.
